This file contains summary statistics from genome-wide association study (GWAS) of relative grip strength (average of measurements of right and left hand divided by weight) in European unrelated individuals of the UK Biobank.

Association analysis was conducted with PLINK (version 2.0) assuming an additive model for association. Age, sex, genotype array and 10 principal components were used as covariates. Analysis was restricted to single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) with minor allele count > 30 and imputation quality information score (info) > 0.8. 

The data are presented with one row per variant, and columns as follows:

MarkerName: genetic variant identifier (chr:position:[SNP/INDEL])
Allele1: trait-raising allele
Allele2: non-effect allele	
Freq1: effect allele frequency
FreqSE: standard error of the Freq1
Effect: beta of the linear regression	
StdErr: standard error of the linear regression beta
P-value: meta-analysis P-value	
Direction: summary of effect direction for each study, with one '+' or '-' per study
