ENGAGE consortium Telomere Length data file We are releasing the summary data from the 2013 ENGAGEmeta-analysis of mean telomere length genome-wide associationdata, in order to enable other researchers to examine particularvariants or loci for their evidence of association withtelomere length. We include results from 2.5 million directlygenotyped or imputed single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)that passed the QC stage prior to the meta-analysis stage. In our own analysis we excluded variants with a small sample size(<50% of the overall sample) but present them here with anidentifier as to which we did not consider. The data contained within ENGAGE_telo_overall_finalrelease.txt are: •snp - rsid for the genetic marker • chr - Chromosome number •position - Chromosomal position (hg18) •nstudy - Number of studies contributing data •n - Number of samples contributing data •n50drop - An indicator that identifies if the sample size was >50% (0) or <50% (1) •effectall - The effect allele •noneffectall - The non-effect allele •eaf - Average effect allele frequency •i2 -I-squared measure of heterogeneity •model - Data are from a fixed/random effects inverse-variance weighted meta-analysis •beta - Beta estimate •se - Standard Error of the Beta •p_gc - P-value after genomic control correction ENGAGE_telo_overall_finalrelease If you use the data, please cite: Codd V, Nelson CP,Albrecht E, Mangino M et al.
